Action Groups provide an opportunity for members of a province or territory to come together to address an issue important to dietitians. Action Group activities may include advocacy, professional development, and networking. Being a member of an Action Group is a great way to meet new colleagues and elevate one’s knowledge and expertise; or develop leadership skills.
Some action groups are long standing while others may get together for a limited time. Action groups report up to the Regional Executive Director in their region. They meet in person or by teleconference at regular points throughout the year. Most action groups welcome new members at any time and there is no cost to join.
Click on your region to find out what Action Groups are active and their recent activities, or connect with your Regional Executive Director to find out how you can get involved.
